Восстановление экономики постепенно набирает темп в Европейском союзе, и рост в этом году будет выше чем первоначальный прогноз, президент Европейской комиссии Хосе Мануэль Баррозо сказал во вторник.
В политической речи к Европейскому парламенту во французском городе Страсбурге глава руководства ЕС сказал, что структурные реформы должны быть ускорены за следующие 12 месяцев, и эти 27 стран в блоке должны показать солидарность.
"Европа должна показать, что это - больше чем 27 различных национальных решений. Мы или плаваем вместе, или снижаемся отдельно," сказал он.
Последние официальные прогнозы помещают рост в ЕС в 1.0 процентах в 2010 и оцененный рост в 16 странах, которые используют евро, были бы 0.9 процента в этом году.
О пересмотренных прогнозах, как ожидается, объявят позже в этом месяце, заявили официальные лица.
Страны в ЕС и европейская зона боролись с кризисом задолженности в этом году. Баррозо сказал, что видел готовность среди правительств принять более сильный финансовый контроль.
Он сказал - блок, который представляет больше чем 500 миллионов человек, должен теперь заняться выравниванием неустойчивости между странами с сильными экономическими системами и теми, которые работают менее хорошо. |
